RIPOFF REPORT #002--Arwa Damon Steals Blog Post Title--SUBJ THE ROAD TO MOSUL, CNN, OPERATION FATAH

TO 27TH MARINES COC/CMD
FROM HADONG BRIDGE SECURITY OP
SUBJ  LONG LINE AT THE CHOW HALL..

(FIREBASE RODES, MAKHMOUR)--Ripping off Military Bureau blog post titles is currently trending in mainstream media and started just yesterday with an Arwa Damon (CNN) report:
http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/06/middleeast/road-to-mosul-advance-on-isis/index.html

As with the Lara Jakes, Blog Post Raider, article, the Military Bureau post came, in this case, not just hours, but days before the copycat title:

ROAD TO MOSUL--Arizona Territory, Boot Hill, Dodge City, The Leper Colony, Liberty Bridge--SUBJ OPERATION FATAH, MAKHMUR, FIREBASE BELL

-------------------------------------------------------------

Apparently it's becoming vogue among the top echelon reporters to pay homage to The Bureau's quality blog posts by brazenly and shamelessly ripping off the title to the post. Though "The Road to Mosul" may sound common and something out of a Crosby-Hope musical comedy, "The March to Mosul" is far more unique, an eye catcher and that's what happened.

Don't worry Arwa and Lara, Blog Post Title Raiders, The Bureau will keep your compromise classified.
